Children's Choir

Here @ FIRST, children are an important part of ministry. Our children’s choir, which meets in both spring and fall semesters, is not only a ministry to the children, but in turn, they minister to the rest of the church family through their seasonal productions.

Sanctuary Choir

The Sanctuary Choir, an ensemble of 35-40 persons, assists in leading worship in our Sunday Morning worship services. With special selections ranging from classical to contemporary, their talents greatly inhance the worship @ FIRST.

Seasonal musicals are produced each year, some including full staging & drama. Weekly rehearsals are currently held on Sunday afternoons. For more information, please contact the church office.

Children’s Choir includes kids 4 years – 6th grade. Rehearsals are held on Sunday evenings. For more information, please contact the church office.

Orchestra

“Praise him with the sound of the trumpet: praise him with the psaltery and harp. Praise him with the timbrel and dance: praise him with stringed instruments and organs. Praise him upon the loud cymbals: praise him upon the high sounding cymbals. “ – Psalm 150:3-5

Orchestra, made up of players 7th grade and above, is a vital part of Sunday morning worship @ FIRST. Through songs of celebration and intimate songs of praise, the orchestra assists us in entering God’s throne in worship.

Youth Worship Band

Youth worship is exiting @ FIRST! The worship band leads on Sunday mornings to begin the Bible Study hour, and also on Wednesday nights to kick off Journey 24/7.

The worship band is on the cutting edge of new worship music, as well as including familiar favorites.

Concerts

Concerts @ FIRST are a great time for the whole family! With groups ranging from southern gospel, inspirational, contemporary and worship, there is something for everyone to enjoy.
